PQ HDR 2000 MASTER
The 2000 nits master comes with a MaxCLL of 1514 and a MaxFALL of 796.
( MaxCLL = Max Content Light Level / MaxFALL = Max Frame Average Light Level )
To properly watch the 2000 nits version of the trailer without clipping/crushing whites and color you need a modern TV set with advanced tonemapping capabilities.
You can still watch this version by using Windows 11.
Recently, Microsoft added an advanced tonemapping to the Windows HDR Mode.
You have to turn on Windows HDR first, then playback the video with any player that supports HDR, e.g. MadVR/VLC or even the Windows Media Player.
With the PC the picture will be auto-tonemapped into your panel specs.
This way you won’t notice clipping or crushed colors.
